This spectacular work of art has been created to show the general tense atmosphere of the Cuban people, evoking the struggles and contradictions associated with the experiences to which 90 percent of Cuba's population are subjected, mired in a long crisis for 65 years.
In the work the artist seeks to show with a critical nuance the disconnection between idealization and reality that these governments show to the world to provoke a deep reflection on the challenges and contradictions inherent to communist systems, exploring how ideals can collide with reality. . The artist invites the viewer to critically consider the complex aspects of the political and social history of Cuba and the countries that are still governed by communist regimes.
